The stated purpose of
the First Congregational Church of Gray shall be to worship God, preach
and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, celebrate the Sacraments,
nurture Christian fellowship and unity within this Church and the
Church Universal, render loving service to humanity, and to strive for
righteousness, justice, and peace. Depending upon the continued
guidance of the Holy Spirit to lead us in all truth, we work and pray
for the transformation of the world into the Kingdom of God; and we
look with faith for the triumph of righteousness and the life
everlasting.
