It is truly a joy to share with you the life and faith of the First Congregational Church of Gray, United Church of Christ. It doesn't matter who you are; a child or an adult, a husband or a wife, a mom or a dad, a grandchild or a grandparent. It is more than a building, an organization, or an activities club. The Church is people. It is your community and neighbors, all who have experienced God's love through shared faith in Jesus Christ. We respond by joining together in worship, study, fellowship and ministry in His name.

The church is also called to serve others, just as Christ came; not to be served but to serve. Out of our gratitude for Christ's love and many blessings for us, we wish to serve you in any way we can.

We confesses our faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of God and the Savior of all people. We recognize the Bible to be the Word of God, and the sufficient rule of faith. Church members have the right to follow the Word of God according to the dictates of their own consciences through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. This Church holds that all persons are called to live according to the teachings of Jesus Christ. We acknowledge Jesus Christ as the head of the Church, and we look to the Holy Scriptures, interpreted with the guidance of the Holy Spirit through reason, faith, and conscience, for guidance in matters of faith and practice.
